Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Article IX, Section §123-46B(3) and (4) of the Esopus Town Code, the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 7:40 p.m. Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Way, Ulster Park, N.Y. for the purpose of considering the application of Church Communities NY Inc. by Agent Adam Yagelskie, AICP for a proposed site plan/special use permit.

Proposal is to construct 4 single-family detached residential cottages on a portion of property located at 100 Maple Ridge Drive. The cottages are intended to provide housing for members of the Community who live and work at the Maple Ridge Community. Three proposed 1,300 sf cottages would have two bedrooms each and one proposed 2,200 sf cottage would have 3 bedrooms. All to connect to existing centralized water supply and wastewater treatment systems serving the Maple Ridge Community. Primary access to the cottages would be Rosenthal Lane via existing internal access road with secondary access available to the south via Hellbrook Lane. Subject parcel is located at 100 Maple Ridge Drive, Town of Esopus, New York, identified as Tax Map No. 63.4-3-33.111 in the R40 Zoning District.

All parties of interest and citizens will be given an opportunity to be heard in respect to such application. Written comment may also be submitted by e-mail to planning-zoning@esopus.com, provided verbally during the meeting or submitted in writing to the Esopus Planning Board, PO Box 700, Port Ewen, NY 12466.

The application is on file in the Planning Board office for inspection by any interested party.
