Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Section §123-41 A (1) of the Esopus Town Code, the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter for the purpose of considering the application of Linda Laestadius for a proposed 1) use variance pursuant to §123-24 of the Town Code for required zoning setbacks in the GC-1 Zoning District and 2) area variance pursuant to §123.10 to allow exterior-detached ADU. The application is for the use to construct an accessory 2-bay garage with an accessory dwelling unit upstairs.

The property is located at 374 Broadway, Route 9W, identified by tax map SBL No. 56.83-4-15 in the GC-1 Zoning District. The proposal is on file in the Planning-Zoning Board office for inspection by any interested party. All parties of interest and citizens will be given an opportunity to be heard in respect to such application.
