NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Esopus held on August 6, 2026, a resolution was duly adopted, subject to a permissive referendum, authorizing the Town of Esopus to sell a property consisting of approximately 1.89 acres with the improvements thereon, situated off Station Road near the CSX train tracks. The property was formerly used by the Esopus Buildings and Grounds Department in the Town of Esopus and is designated on the Ulster County tax map as real property (SBL 56.19-3-3) and is more particularly described in the Deed recorded in the Ulster County Clerk’s Office at Liber 001138, page 495.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the full text of the resolution is available on the town website www.esopus.gov and in the Town Clerk’s office for examination M-F, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the resolution is subject to a permissive referendum and will take effect thirty (30) days from adoption unless a legally sufficient protest petition is filed with the Clerk.
