Four local experts will discuss the Revolutionary War, the town's role during that period and the effects we still experience. They will cover:

  • The influence of our location
  • The story of the Lenape Native Americans, then and now
  • Slavery in Esopus and the famous Sojourner Truth

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
This is part of the town's events to commemorate the 250th birthday of America. The series is funded through the Ulster County Rev250 Fund and in partnership with the Klyne Esopus Historical Society Museum.
